Support ECS!

There are many different ways that you can partner with Emporia Christian School. Here is a list of how individuals, local church communities, and businesses who support our mission can come alongside and partner with ECS:

Prayer partners. Pray that we might fulfill our mission to God’s glory, students would come to know the Lord, and we might be able to grow this ministry to serve more families, the local churches, and the Emporia community.

Spread the word. We’d like to keep you informed of the events at ECS as well as specific needs the school has and how you can help. We communicate through email and also our online platforms: the ECS website and Facebook page. Help us promote ECS! Volunteer or come work with us. There is always work to be done at the school; grounds keeping, building updates and upkeep, deep cleaning, helping in classrooms, etc. We are looking for team members to serve alongside of in our ministry at ECS. Financial Partner. The school is currently looking for individuals, local churches, and businesses to financially partner with us. We also pursue grants and hold fundraisers. We’d love to talk with you more about our specific areas of need.

Fundraising

Emporia Christian School is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and it receives no taxpayer funding. To support the daily operation of the school, ECS holds a Read-A-Thon every spring. Students who choose to participate seek out people to sponsor them with a tax-deductible monetary gift. The Read-A-Thon is a fun and rewarding experience for the students and it makes a huge difference to the school. If you would like to sponsor a student, please call the office at 342-5353.

Emporia Christian School’s Parent-Teacher Organization raises money in several ways for special projects at the school:

PTO’s major fundraiser is its annual Pancake Feed held in November at the Anderson Building on the Lyon County Fair Grounds. Tickets may be purchased from a student or at the school office.
General Mill’s Boxtops for Education earn cash for classroom educational needs, and it’s so easy even extended family, neighbors, and friends can help. Just download the Boxtops app on your phone and select Emporia Christian School as the participating non-profit. You simply scan your receipts or connect your Walmart account to Boxtops to earn money for ECS!
