Why Christian Schools
“The moral foundations of children are generally determined by the time the individual reaches age nine.” ~ George Barna, Transforming Children Into Spiritual Champions
Christian schools are uniquely equipped to assist parents and the church in training children in godly ways. Working together, the Christian home, church, and school present a “triple-braided cord” that is not easily broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:12)
Emporia Christian School provides a Christian foundation with the goal of glorifying Jesus Christ.
Christian schools educate the whole student spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially.
Students learn to evaluate all they encounter in the world through the perspective of God.
Students study the Bible, pray, and are taught to interpret the facts of each subject from a biblical worldview.
We are very grateful that the Lord has allowed us to be a part of our students’ lives. The purpose of our ministry is to help students understand they were created to glorify God in everything they do. We strive to work as a team with parents and churches in accomplishing this goal.
