Emporia Christian School offers education from preschool through eighth grade. ECS is a place where students receive a distinctively Christian education, focused on strong academics. The school partners with parents and churches to develop children’s unique, God-given talents.
Kindergarten is split into two half-day periods.
In the morning students are taught Bible, Math, Reading, Phonics, Art, Music, Physical Education, Chapel;
and in the afternoon there are enrichment activities.
First Grade and Second Grade are taught as separate classes.
Third Grade and Fourth Grade are taught as a combination class.
Fifth Grade and Sixth Grade are taught as a combination class.
Curriculum for 1st - 6th Grade includes the following subjects:
Bible, Math, Reading, Language, Spelling, History, Science/Health, Computers, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Chapel.
