Governance

Under the management of year-round Principal, Jim Sanborn, Emporia Christian School’s faculty is fully dedicated to serving Christ and is committed to providing academic excellence in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.

The school is overseen by a Board of Directors that meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. In addition, ECS has a Corporation Board composed of representatives from various churches in the Emporia area who keep their church apprised of developments at ECS. The Corporation Board meets twice a year at the school, usually in September and March. Please call the school if you are interested in attending any of the board meetings.
